Mapleton School District has openings for substitute teachers and substitutes for classifed positions (education aide, kitchen, custodial, bus driver).

Substitute teachers must have a teaching license. Classified substitutes need to pass a background check and if subbing for kitchen or bus driving then need appropriate certificates.

Substitute teacher wages are based on the state substitue rate for 4 day schools. Classified substitute wages are the starting wage for the position they are substituting for.
